Cognitive Functions
We examine every core cognitive domain — not only to identify difficulties, but also to find your strengths, which we then build upon.
  • Mental Processing Speed

  • Attention & Concentration

  • Memory & Learning
Short-term, long-term, verbal, and visual memory; learning curve and recognition.
  • Language
Comprehension, speech production, word-finding, verbal fluency, and naming.
  • Executive Functions
Organization, planning, problem-solving, mental flexibility, and self-control.
  • Visuospatial Skills

How it Works
  • Step 1: Neuropsychological Evaluation
The neuropsychological evaluation is the assessment of cognitive functions, which provides information about the structural and functional integrity of the brain. It encompasses history-taking, the administration of psychometric tests, and clinical observation.
  • Step 2: Neuropsychological Report
The findings of the assessment are synthesized into a detailed neuropsychological report. The report includes a thorough interpretation of the results, a description of the cognitive profile, clinical conclusions, and individualized recommendations.
  • Step 3: Feedback Session
An explanation of the assessment results, aimed at understanding the cognitive profile and its functional implications. This is followed by a discussion, answers to your questions, and the formulation of individualized recommendations and therapeutic directions.
  • Step +: Neuropsychological Rehabilitation
Based on the cognitive profile, an individualized intervention program is designed, which may relate to the prevention, stabilization, or rehabilitation of cognitive difficulties.
    Neuropsychological rehabilitation interventions include:

    • Cognitive Rehabilitation (Individual / Group)
    • Psychotherapy
    • Collaboration with family / workplace / schools / other agencies
    • Psychoeducation
Cognitive rehabilitation includes interventions to strengthen the affected cognitive domains, as well as compensatory interventions that draw on the individual's strengths. In addition, it develops coping, adaptation, and external-aid strategies that are ecologically valid and simulate the conditions of everyday life.
